OUR STORY

Years ago, we began noticing that kids throughout Manchester’s inner-city neighborhoods were spending their days and nights on the streets, many growing up surrounded by poverty, violence, neglect, and hopelessness. Too many felt forgotten. Too many were growing up without safe community, consistent support, or people who truly saw them. Our belief is that real change happens when ordinary people are willing to show up with love, consistency, and faith.

We felt called to create a place where kids could experience genuine care, joy, safety, and the love of Jesus in a real and personal way. We also wanted to create opportunities for people from every background and church community to come together and serve — not waiting for someone else to act, but becoming part of the solution themselves. What started as a simple act of showing up quickly became something much bigger.

Over the years, Roca Kidz has become a place where children feel seen, valued, and loved. A place where volunteers discover purpose. A place where meals are shared, prayers are prayed, relationships are built, and hope begins to grow again.

Because at the heart of Roca Kidz is one belief: No child should grow up feeling forgotten.
